Stephanie Kavoulakos, LMFT has over a decade of experience in clinical care and administrative leadership, with a background in the music industry. She has served as Clinical Director at residential substance abuse and dual-diagnosis facilities and has worked in community, school, and private practice settings with adults, couples, families, adolescents, and children. Stephanie holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute and is trained or certified in several evidence-based practices related to addiction, trauma, depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues.
Stephanie’s therapeutic approach is holistic and trauma-informed, integrating mindfulness, family systems, solution-focused interventions, CBT, DBT, and brief psychodynamic therapy. She is trained in EMDR through the Institute of Creative Mindfulness and is passionate about working with creative individuals, addiction, and complex relational trauma. She is active in her local CAMFT chapter and has served on its board.
